Weekend Happenings!

I don’t know about you, but I can hardly believe that it’s already November! Leaves here in California are trying their best to turn colors, there is a sweet crispness in the air (in most parts of the country anyway), and Thanksgiving is less than three weeks away! Oh, and how could I forget? My website, thetabletogether.com went live on Monday! What a celebration in itself!

Even though we are entering a very busy time of year, I am looking forward to a fun weekend ahead. First off, I am driving to Pasadena to help celebrate my cousin’s birthday. I haven’t seen her since my sister’s wedding in August, so it will be great to catch up. Then, on Sunday, I am taking a few cooking classes here in Newport Beach. I have found these classes whether at Sur La Table, Williams Sonoma or Le Pain to be extremely helpful in learning new techniques and refining those that I don’t practice very often, i.e. making bread, rolls, Indian food, paella, etc. And after all this fun, I’m going to try and squeeze in a trip to the farmers market and prepare myself for the week ahead.

Whatever it is that you find yourself getting into this weekend, I hope you are safe, have a great time, and find an opportunity to gather your friends and family around the table together!
