How to Make a Compound Butter (Bonus YouTube Video Included) | Tuesday’s Tip of the Day!
A compound butter is a terrific and super easy way to take an ordinary dish to extraordinary levels. Given we first eat with our eyes, learning how to make a compound butter is one skill I teach all of my clients! Plus, you can freeze them for three months! How easy is that!
So, what is a compound butter? A compound butter is taking softened butter, adding freshly chopped herbs of choice and usually lemon zest too, before rolling into a tight log, refrigerating to harden and then cutting into “coins” placing on top of roasted veggies or proteins (usually) allowing the residual heat to gently melt the butter on top. It’s delicious, show-stopping and a synch to make! Come join me on my YouTube channel (The Table Together with Tiffany Lewis) and I will show you how!!!
