Peeling Kiwi in Seconds Flat | Tuesday's Tip of the Day!
As we turn the corner into hotter months ahead, so does my appetite for something sweet yet refreshing. Kiwi is one of my go-to summertime favorites as quite frankly, they hit that perfect balance between ever so slightly tangy while keeping a wonderful sweet and juicy finish! Just thinking about them makes my mouth water. Because I can eat several in one sitting – don’t judge – I thought it would be appropriate to show you a quick and easy way to get through the fuzzy skin and right to “business.”
Using a knife, cut both ends off the kiwi so the top and bottom are flat. Tuck an everyday spoon from your silverware drawer under the peel and rotate around the kiwi gently pulling away and removing the peel as you go. While on the topic, this tip also works for removing shells from hardboiled eggs. And there my friends, is a juicy (pun absolutely intended) little tip for enjoying kiwi in seconds flat!
