Cranberry Relish
Cranberry Relish
If you are looking for a quick cranberry sauce that doesn’t require cooking, or really any planning, this recipe is your ticket! Simply add everything to a food processor, pulse, and voila! If you have any leftovers, which chances are you won’t, spoon some in cream cheese the following day for a delicious spread on your turkey sandwich.
Yield: 6 servings
Oven: N/A
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: N/A
2, 12-ounce bags fresh cranberries, left whole
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 small orange, peel removed, cubed
1 teaspoon roughly chopped ginger, peeled
Method:
1. In a large food processor, add cranberries, sugar, orange, and ginger. Pulse until combined and coarsely chopped.
2. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve alongside your other Turkey-Day favorites!
Kitchen Note: If you want a little more “punch,” add more ginger and leave the peel on the orange when you add it to the food processor. Also, if you don’t have a food processor, you can use a blender as long as there is a pulse function. Just watch the mixture carefully so you don’t end up with soup!
