Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: N/A
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon lemon juice, approximately from one half lemon
1 teaspoon roughly chopped tarragon
1 teaspoon honey, more or less depending on desired sweetness
kosher salt, as desired
freshly ground black pepper, as desired
Method:
1. In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, buttermilk, lemon juice, tarragon, honey, salt and pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste with additional lemon juice, salt or pepper if desired.
2. Toss with salad greens of choice or drizzle over grilled stone fruit (like peaches) and serve!
Kitchen Note: The tarragon adds a wonderful anise flavor profile which makes a great addition to the tangy buttermilk and sour cream. Feel free to omit all together if desired.
