Pineapple Mango and Banana Smoothie with Coconut Water
I love a fresh smoothie in the morning as they are quick to make and can be enjoyed on the go! This smoothie reminds me of summer even in the dead of winter. When in season, I always tuck away some pineapple and mango (pre-cut of course) in my freezer in anticipation for colder months. It gives me something to look forward while not watering down my smoothie with ice.

12-fluid ounces coconut water
1 cup frozen pineapple, cut into bite size pieces
1 frozen banana, cut into bite size pieces
1 cup frozen mango, cut into bite size pieces
Method:
1. In a blender, add coconut water, pineapple, banana and mango. Blend on low until running then high until smooth.
Kitchen Note: Using frozen fruit is a great way to keep your smoothie from being watered down as ice melts. Consider adding fresh ginger for a bit of “bite.”
