If fall could be summarized in a cocktail, this Shaken Kentucky Bourbon Apple Pie would be it! With Kentucky bourbon, apple cider, maple syrup and pecan bitters, it’s the ultimate cold weather warming-to-the-core kind of cocktail.

4-ounces Kentucky Bourbon
4-ounces unfiltered apple cider, like Martinelli’s
4 dashes toasted pecan bitters
1/2-ounce maple syrup
Method:
1. In a cocktail shaker, add bourbon, apple cider, pecan bitters, maple syrup, and lots of ice. Shake until ice cold and serve over two lowball or old fashion glasses filled with ice.
Kitchen Note: For a warm version, simply combine ingredients together in a small saucepan over low heat and allow to simmer until desired temperature.
